Meet Garrett
Phenomelawn is me, Garrett Morris. When you hire Phenomelawn, I am the one who shows up, walks your yard, and does every treatment myself. No call center, no rotating crews, no handing your lawn off to whoever is available that day.
I am licensed by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture for turf and ornamental applications (Charter #5303) and fully insured, so the person putting products on your lawn actually knows the products, the timing, and our Northeast Tennessee soil and weather. I built Phenomelawn on doing the work right and giving you a straight answer about what your lawn needs. That is the kind of pro I would want on my own yard, so that is the one you get.
Why homeowners choose Phenomelawn
Anyone can spray a lawn. Phenomelawn builds a real program around your turf and delivers results you can see, without the national-chain runaround.

Common lawn questions
Straight answers, the same ones I give in person.
How much does a lawn treatment program cost?
Every lawn is different, so I build the program around your yard's size, its condition, and what it actually needs to thrive. After I look it over you get a clear, itemized number up front, no mystery pricing and no surprise upsells. Request a quote and I will get you a real figure for your lawn.
How many treatments does a lawn need each year?
For Northeast Tennessee turf, a healthy lawn usually wants a full season of timed visits, roughly six to eight across the year. Each one does a specific job at the right time: fertilizer when the grass can use it, pre-emergent before the weeds wake up, grub control before the damage starts. That schedule is what separates a lawn that improves every season from one that gets sprayed once and forgotten.
My lawn has brown patches. Is that a disease?
Not every brown patch is a disease, and treating the wrong thing is how a whole season gets wasted. Dog spots, drought stress, grubs, and actual fungus all look alike but need very different fixes. I diagnose what is really going on in your yard and treat the actual problem, so the lawn bounces back instead of getting a guess thrown at it. Knowing the difference is exactly why my customers trust the program I put them on.
Are you licensed to apply these treatments in Tennessee?
Yes, fully licensed and insured. In Tennessee, anyone who applies weed control, fertilizer, fungus, grub, or insect treatments for pay has to hold a pesticide charter with the Tennessee Department of Agriculture and be certified to do the work. I hold Tennessee Charter #5303 and carry the license and insurance the state requires.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No long contract. I earn the next visit by making your lawn look better, not by locking you in. The program runs season to season, and if you ever want to stop you just tell me. Most folks stay because the lawn keeps getting better, which is the whole point.
What makes Phenomelawn different from the big lawn companies?
You get me, the same person, every visit. No call center, no rotating crews reading a script, no one-size-fits-all program shipped in from out of state. I know your lawn, our soil, and the weeds and diseases that actually show up in Northeast Tennessee, and I build your program around that. When something is off I tell you straight and I fix the real problem. That is how you end up with a lawn worth bragging about.
